What our clients say...
"Like most workplaces today, universities can be busy and stressful places, and our staff development team were certainly feeling the pressure a couple years ago when we were asked to provide support for a major programme of change across the organisation. We were fortunate that our manager at the time understood how important it is for team members to maintain a sense of well-being if they are to perform at their best, so to help us deal with the extra stresses and strains, she arranged for David to visit the department regularly between 2007 and 2009 to provide neck and shoulder massages for everyone who wanted to sign up for them. Needless to say, there was never a shortage of customers for David! Having been one of those lucky enough to receive regular treatments, I can say that we all appreciated these opportunities to relax and compose ourselves, and to know that our manager valued us, and our work contributions, sufficiently to invest in this service for us."
Corony Edwards, Director of Educational Development, University of Birmingham.
"David has delivered the 1 day 'Coping Skills for Busy Lives' workshop 4 times a year for the past 3 years at the University of Birmingham. The workshop took a holistic approach to well being and stress management. This was achieved by encouraging participants to assess their lifestyle pressure, consider how they might alter their perspectives and practices and also develop strategies to help them manage or avoid pressure situations that contribute to the development of stress. The workshops were well attended and consistently received positive feedback." Karen Carter, Organisational Development Consultant, University of Birmingham
